Research expertise

I earned my PhD in Economics from the University of Rochester, under the supervision of Professor Mark Bils. My thesis consisted of trials on signaling, self-selection and return on investment in training. Generally speaking, I am interested in issues relating to wage dynamics and labour market economics.

I also hold the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation Chair in American Studies.
